MEXICO CITY - Think they're just clowning around?
You try running 40 meters in really big shoes.
The 10th annual Clown Olympics were staged Monday in Mexico City. It's a red nosed, wacky take on the global sports competition with clowns taking part in the events.
Instead of the decathlon, gymnastics or kayaking competitors match skills in wacky diving, human bowling, and a clown tug-of-war.
Organizers hope the proceeds will raise enough funds to purchase a half-ton of groceries to feed the hungry in Mexico City.
