ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Turns out, the check is not in the mail.
The post office building at 180 Kellogg Boulevard East in St. Paul is back on the market after a deal to sell it fell through in recent months.
The 750,000 square foot Eugene McCarthy Post Office was built in phases in 1933 and 1966. The asking price for the property, which fronts the Mississippi River, is $5 million. Offers are due by January 15th.
The company marketing the site says it offers a tremendous redevelopment opportunity in downtown St. Paul's Lowertown neighborhood.
