In recent months, KARE 11 has been overcome with sporks.

That's not a typo, I'm talking about SPORKS.

What is a spork you ask? It's a combination of a spoon and a fork and it started to show up in the KARE 11 lunch room about a month ago.

Originally, I thought it was a mistake that someone stocked our drawers full of sporks. But now that about a month has gone by, I'm beginning to realize the sporks are here to stay.

Now the question is, what exactly can you do with a spork because eating with it is almost out of the question.

When it comes to food like pasta, you can literally forget about trying to use a spork to eat with it. The little triangular tines (if you can even call them that) on the spork aren't deep enough to pick up any type of spaghetti noodle thus making you have to it either eat it with your hands, or you have to shovel it into your mouth with the spork directly from your bowl or plate.

Even eating soup becomes a challenge because the amount of soup that stays in a spork isn't enough to fill up my toddler's mouth.

The first time I ever saw a spork was when I was a child a million years ago.  It was at a Kentucky Fried Chicken and I remembered thinking that a spork was pretty cool because I'd never seen one. I forgave it the fact that I couldn't eat anything except the mashed potatoes with it because it was new and exciting.

But now I'm at total a loss.

I need you to help me come up with some creative suggestions for what to do with a spork. Maybe I'm missing something great here!
