So here it is, the BIG 30!
For the most part I celebrated my 30th birthday with close friends and kept it low key, just how I like it. I've never been a big birthday guy. I never wanted a party or anything like that. I like to keep it simple and I think this year went pretty well. It's nice talking with friends about "the good ol' days"... The older I get the faster time goes by.
I did get a nice gift from Mother Nature Tuesday night, with some passing thunder storms. I knew she wouldn't forget! I could watch storms all day and night!
Now that I'm an old timer, I'll leave you with a quote from the 1986 comedy
"Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once and awhile, you might miss it".
Those are words to live by.
