  • Up on the rooftop at Augustana Lutheran Church.
  • I wish you could hear the noise these birds were making!
  • The crows enjoy hanging out near Elliot Park in Minneapolis.
  • It was getting a little messy to walk around and take photos! Yuk!

File this under, "Another weird night in Minneapolis." Monday night, I was out patrolling and checking out a possible stabbing outside of downtown. The weather was mild compared to the last few weeks, it felt like light jacket weather. I stopped at an intersection, windows down, scanners going. I look up and see several trees across the street filled with crows. Ya know, I can't even say it was just filled, it was overflowing with black birds!

I wish you could have heard the noise they were making! Squawking back and forth, one in particular, making a huge plea for attention... He would NOT quiet down!

It looked like a scene out of Hitchcock's movie, "The Birds". I thought it was unusual, thousands of crows flying from tree to tree in the middle of downtown Minneapolis. If you happen to run into the gang of crows, I'd move fast! They won't hesitate to drop a little gift on you as they fly by.

That's all for now! See you soon!
