Man hospitalized after Minneapolis hit-and-run

MINNEAPOLIS -- A man has been arrested following a hit-and-run in south Minneapolis that left one person hospitalized.

The incident happened on the 2900 block of Portland Avenue South just after 11 p.m. Saturday.

The victim, a 37-year-old man, was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center where he's listed in serious condition.

According to authorities, the suspect, a 20-year-old man, was detained at the scene by witnesses.  He was later arrested.

Police say they are investigating the hit-and-run as possibly intentional.
