Man shot in 2013 dies from injuries

MINNEAPOLIS -- A man who was shot in 2013 has died as a result of complications with his injuries, according to authorities.

Police say Larry Jermaine Jones, 41, was a passenger in a car when a shooting occurred in the 2000 block of Irving Avenue North on November, 4, 2013. Based on witness statements, authorities say the shooting may have been drug related.

Jones was paralyzed in the shooting, and died from complications of his gunshot wound. The medical examiner has ruled his death a homicide.
