Suspect sought in Mpls. armed robbery

MINNEAPOLIS -- Police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Minneapolis Saturday morning.

Authorities say the robbery happened around 9 a.m. at the Handy Stop on the 2600 block of West Broadway Avenue.

According to police, the suspect and store owner exchanged gunfire before the suspect took off. They say no one was hit.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Minneapolis Police.
