Teen in custody after stabbing at Woodbury movie theater

WOODBURY, Minn. - A 17-year-old boy is in custody after a stabbing outside of a Woodbury movie theater on Saturday night.

Police said they found a 23-year-old St. Paul man with apparent stab wounds outside of the Woodbury 10 Theatre just before 9:30 p.m. They were called to the scene on the report of an incident involving a knife.

The boy was taken into custody. Police said they recovered the knife from the scene.

Police believe the incident started when two groups of people got into an altercation as they were leaving the theater. It's not clear if he two groups knew each other.

Another woman was cited and and another adult also likely will face criminal charges. Police are not looking for any other suspects.
