ST. PAUL, Minn. - A show set for July 10 at Midway Stadium is shaping up to be the concert of the summer for music fans steeped in American roots rock.
Native son Bob Dylan will be joined by Wilco, My Morning Jacket and finger-picking whiz Richard Thompson for the Americanarama tour. As cranky as he can be, Dylan has a documented fondness for playing outdoor baseball stadium. He has staged outdoor shows in Rochester in recent years, and his 2005 stop at Midway Stadium with Willie Nelson is considered a classic.
The show will being at 5:30, rain or shine. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, April 27 at 10 a.m. All are general admission, priced at $68. They are available online at etix.com, by phone at 800-514-ETIX (3849), or at both the Midway Stadium Box Office and The Depot Tavern.
