Looking to plan your social calendar for the week? Or just curious about cool stuff going on around the Twin Cities? Each week we'll highlight a few of the many fun events from the local entertainment scene worthy of a spot on your to-do list.

Rodeo

World's Toughest Rodeo - Xcel Energy Center - February 3 & 4 - $17 - 18

How often do you get to experience a wild rodeo in downtown St. Paul? Head over to the Xcel Energy Center where the World's Toughest Rodeo will hold two shows on Friday and Saturday. You'll be able to see barrel racing, bull riding, rope tricks and more. The kids can even get involved before each show in the "Cowboy Kids Zone" where real cowboys will be giving lessons on how to lasso a steer and barrel race. Yee-haw!

Theater

End of the Rainbow - Guthrie Theater - Now through March 11 - Varied pricing

Get to know one of America's most cherished pop culture figures in the Guthrie Theater's "End of the Rainbow." Watch as Judy Garland, played by Tracie Bennett, prepares for her comeback in 1968 London.  A play with music, "End of the Rainbow" features some of Garland's most memorable songs, performed with the show-stopping gusto for which she will always be remembered. Enter here for your chance to win a pair of tickets and fly to New York to see the same show on Broadway!

Fashion

Avoid the Grey - MNfashion Atrium - February 4 - $10

Even though it's still technically winter, it's never too early to get a head start on your spring wardrobe. Uptown boutique Cliché is hosting their annual Avoid the Grey fashion show on Saturday featuring pieces from some of the best Twin Cities designers. Instead of the traditional runway show, Cliché has decided to switch it up this year. Designers will instead showcase a single look displayed inside a chamber where attendees will be able to peer inside to get a sneak peak at their upcoming collection. Always a sold out show, Avoid the Grey is sure to whet the appetite of every fashionista preparing for Minneapolis-St. Paul Fashion Week in a few weeks.

Comedy

Mystic Comedy Night - Mystic Lake Casino - February 4 - $19

Three Minnesotan comedians with some serious street cred are taking the stage at Mystic Lake Casino on Saturday night. Chad Daniels, Tim Harmston and Pete Lee have collectively appeared on just about every national outlet including David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central, NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and more. The price is right for all that talent in one spot and a guaranteed night of laughs.
