GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Local rapper P.O.S. announced today the decision to cancel his upcoming tour due to an emergent need for a kidney transplant. His two and a half week tour schedule will be postponed with the exception of his October 26 show at First Avenue.
P.O.S. tweeted a YouTube video of himself explaining his medical condition which he has been dealing with for years. His previous plans to undergo dialysis on the road are no longer an option and he has been advised to postpone his tour to focus on finding a new kidney.
The announcement comes days before the release of his long-awaited fifth album, "We Don't Even Live Here," which comes out October 22.
P.O.S. says he might reach out to his fans to help him find a new kidney.
Tickets for his October 26 show are still available and can be purchased here.
