ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. - The K102 Wakeup Crew is fresh off its big night, brushing elbows with country music's biggest stars.
Hosts Donna and Muss were named "Major Market Personality of the Year" by the Country Music Association and attended the CMA Awards in Nashville last week to accept the award.
The duo has been on the air together for 13 years and beat out radio personalities in Seattle, Baltimore, Portland and Charlotte to win.
KARE 11's Bryan Piatt spent Thursday morning in the K102 Studio with Donna and Muss to find out what the award means to them and what it was like to sit second row for the biggest night in country music.
Donna and Muss are hosting the K102 Class of 2012 concert this Sunday at Mystic Lake Casino which features up and coming country music artists. Congratulations to Vicki Keith, Rita Johnson and Laura Kallestad who won tickets by watching KARE 11 Sunrise.
