Sunday was a great day for Grand Old Day.
The warm weather helped bring thousands of people out to St. Paul for the festival and parade along Grand Avenue.
It’s the city’s traditional kickoff to summer. After experimenting with a two-day event last year, organizers are back to hosting one long day of fun, food, and music.
The festival stretches a full 30 blocks, from Dale Street to Wheeler Street. More than 100 food vendors take part.
Organizers estimated 250,000 people were in attendance this year.
