ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The sunken garden at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory at Como in St. Paul gets a makeover five times a year. The summer show is the one that lasts the longest at around five months.
This year, Como is celebrating 100 years! They are paying homage to the beautiful Victorian style of the Conservatory by having a Victorian theme this summer.
The gardens are always amazing, but the transformation is quite a site to behold. The planning and meticulous nature of this show make it really special.
In this week's Grow with KARE, we will show you how in one week they completely turn over this garden and how they grow and maintain 100,000 plus plants to make sure that it looks great for the entire summer. The show opens Saturday, May 2.
Wow! What a place, what a treasure.
