It’s a synergy that lets you get the most out of your food.

Sue Moores, RD, Kowalski’s Markets nutritionist, shows us which foods are best buddies, including:

• Summer salads + certain types of salad dressings

• Iron-rich plant foods such as nuts, seeds and beans with vitamin C-rich foods such as strawberries, citrus and red bell peppers

• Garlic, onions and lemon
