Lead screenings and a free tote bag from UCare

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - You can accumulate a lot of goodies at the fair so UCare would like to help you carry that load.  Stop by the Health Fair 11 building to pick up a free, teal UCare tote bag.

UCare is also sponsoring lead screenings by CLEARCorps for children and pregnant women during select hours of the fair.

The lead screenings will be available at no cost for children ages 9-30 months, children under age 6 who have never been tested and pregnant women who are on Medicare or Medical Assistance (insurance card must be presented.)   Lead test results will not be available immediately.  Test materials will be sent to the CLEARCorps laboratory. 

Hours for lead testing at the UCare booth are Saturday, August 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday, August 27th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday, August 28th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, September 1st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday, September 2nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, September 3rd from 1 p.m to 6 p.m.

UCare will also offer Ask a Pharmacist sessions at various times throughout the fair: Thursday, Aug, 23: 10 a.m. -.4 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 24: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Monday, Aug. 27: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Tuesday, Aug. 28: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Wednesday, Aug. 29: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 30: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; and Friday, Aug. 31: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Licensed UCare sales reps will also be there to answer Medicare questions. UCare staff can answer Medicaid and other Minnesota Health Care Programs offered by UCare.
