Minnesota ranks third healthiest state in the U.S.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Americans are making considerable progress in their overall health in 2013, and as usual, Minnesota nears the top of the list.

United Health Foundation just released its "America's Health Rankings" report.

Minnesota is number three on the list of healthy states, only behind Hawaii and Vermont, respectively.

Dr. Reed Tuckson of United Health Foundation spoke with KARE 11 Sunrise from Washington, D.C. about the survey and Minnesota's great ranking.
