Instacart expands to more metro residents

MINNEAPOLIS - Good news for those looking for a hand with their grocery shopping -- Instacart, a retail delivery service, is now expanding to 14 new zip codes in the Twin Cities.

Customers in Excelsior, Chanhassen, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Burnsville, St. Paul, Bloomington and more will now have access to the local store delivery service, which allows users to choose what items they need and get their products delivered straight to their door.

Instacart's latest expansion now reaches more than 844,000 residents in the metro.

Residents in the selected areas will be able to order from Cub Foods (Supervalu), Total Wine, Costco, Petco and others (Lakewinds will be added for west metro users) and have their groceries delivered in about an hour.
