When Rachel Frederickson stepped onstage for February's Biggest Loser season finale en route to victory, she drew gasps over how many pounds she'd lost — 155 — which amounted to 60% of her body weight. Viewers and the media wondered whether she'd gone too far.
Nearly two months later, she tells Us Weekly that she's put on 20 pounds, putting her at 120, which has her at what she considers to be her "perfect weight."
The 24-year-old former swimmer says she still works out for an hour, six days a week. And while she has relaxed her diet restrictions somewhat, she stays in contact with the show's nutritionist and psychologist in order to continue on the right path.
The Minnesotan also doesn't regret the backlash her massive weight loss caused. "It started a discussion about body image," she tells the magazine. "That's huge."
