Fatal motorcycle crash

PLYMOUTH, Minn. - A man from New Hope is dead after his motorcycle crashed with a vehicle at high speed Sunday night.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the 22-year-old rider, identified as Andrew Roeglin, was riding his Honda Racer at excessive speed and attempted to pass a Dodge Caravan when it clipped the rear driver's side of the van.

Roeglin was thrown off his motorcycle and was declared dead on the scene. 

The driver of the minivan was not hurt, and will not be cited in the crash.
