ROSEVILLE, Minn. - A rain damaged section of Highway 13 near Mendota Heights will close for a week so crews can make emergency repairs.
Both directions of the highway will close between 2nd Street and Lexington Avenue beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday so crews can repair a slope that was damaged during the recent rain.
Highway 13 is expected to re-open by Tuesday, June 17.
In addition to the Highway 13 closure, the Big Rivers Regional Trail that runs along Highway 13 between Mendota Heights and Lilydale is closed indefinitely.
Motorists and trail users are advised to seek alternative routes.
