ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. - Friday night was special one for Benilde St. Margaret senior Jack Jablonski.
Jablonski wore his cap and gown proudly with the rest of his class and received his high school diploma.
Jablonski was paralyzed during a hockey game in 2011. Since then, he has made great progress in his recovery and has started hosting his own sports talk radio show.
Jablonski said he never expected graduation to be like this, but he is still very excited to begin the next chapter in his life.
"I'll miss BSM. It's been great to me and what they've done for me has been unbelievable, and I wouldn't be where I am right now without them," Jablonski said. "I'll definitely miss them, but it's time to move on and thank them for what they've done."
Jablonski will spend the summer working on his therapy before he moves to California to attend the USC. He plans on majoring in communications.
