MINNEAPOLIS -- A man running to catch a Metro Transit bus was hospitalized after he was struck by the rear wheels, say Minneapolis Police.
The incident happened just before 8 p.m. Tuesday as the bus departed the Uptown Transit Center.
When authorities arrived, they found the man beneath the back of the bus. They say he was conscious and breathing when he was taken to HCMC with unknown injuries.
Police say the driver will undergo drug and alcohol testing, which is standard procedure.
