This is the first multi-day bike ride to support breast cancer patients and research in Minnesota.
Riders and crew travel a metro area route of 100 miles, starting at Southdale in Edina, camping overnight at Treasure Island Resort and Casino, and finishing at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley.
Funds raised benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Open Arms of Minnesota, which prepares and delivers meals tailored specifically for its clients with breast cancer, as well as their children and caregivers.
The dates of the ride are August 1-2. There is an option to join campers for an evening of comedy for $20.
