The GoNorth! team needs your help in naming a 1-month-old female,husky pup. If you're not familiar with GoNorth! it's a group of explorers that bring the remote parts of the Arctic into classrooms worldwide using technology.
They're kicking off an expedition in February of 2008, and before they leave they need to name one of their newest additions.
A couple of things to keep in mind when you're naming this little girl:
Polar Huskies are never named after 'people, friends and family.'
Polar Huskies are never given the same name as Polar Huskies that have passed away.
Make sure that the name does not 'sound like' the name of other Polar Huskies in the kennel.
Most Polar Husky names have two syllables. If three syllables or more, make sure that a nice 'nickname' can come when the word is cut short to two syllables.
