MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Even if one of the most read publications in our society deems Congresswoman Michele Bachmann something unsavory, bets are, it won't matter.
On Tuesday morning Newsweek will hit the stands with a cover story on Bachmann with the byline "The Queen of Rage."
At least one political analyst sees it working in Bachmann's favor.
"The attacks that Bachmann has been getting confirm to her supporters the fact that she is on the right path to taking on not only the establishment in the Democratic party but within the Republican party too," political analyst Larry Jacobs said.
If the cover is media manipulation to fit some kind of idea that Bachmann isn't a serious presidential contender, as some are suggesting, it may work not to discredit Congresswoman Bachmann but rather to shoot her star even higher.
"This has an edge to it but among Bachmann supporters it doesn't have much of an impact in that it actually reinforces the sense that the mainstream media is out to get Bachmann and then that adds to her authenticity as a true threat to the political establishment," Jacobs said.
