MINNEAPOLIS - Minneapolis city officials say they will have to hand count ballots for three precincts beginning Wednesday morning.
According to the city, a number of ballots in these precincts had technical printing errors affecting the margins, preventing the ballots from being properly scanned.
Beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, ballots from these three precincts will be hand counted at the Minneapolis elections warehouse.
Officials say only a small percentage of the city's precincts were affected, and they want to assure voters that every ballot will be counted.
