Water main break drains a million gallons in Rogers

ROGERS, Minn. - City water pumps are running at full blast to refill the water tower after a million gallons were lost in Rogers on Tuesday.

So much water leaked, the drying tower forced the city to send an alert to the city.

The Minnesota State Patrol's helicopter was called in to find the leak which was in a wooded area near Camper World near I-94 and Highway 101.

As with any water main break residents and business owners may experience rusty or brown water temporarily.
