Man injured in horse and buggy accident

SUNDBURG, Minn. -- Police say a 73-year-old man was injured in a horse and buggy accident Saturday near Sundburg, Minnesota.

The incident happened in the 3000 block of 240th Avenue Northwest.

Police say horses pulling a covered wagon had gotten spooked and ran off into a ditch, throwing the driver.

He was airlifted from the scene to St. Cloud Hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

Other passengers in the wagon were not injured.
