Man proposes using Vikings legacy brick

MINNEAPOLIS - Before Thursday night's Minnesota Vikings home game against the Los Angeles Rams, Chris Winter of St. Cloud asked his girlfriend, Jenna Kline of Elk River, to check out the Legacy Ship.

The ship opened to the public Thursday morning and is full of Vikings fans' names and memories.

Little did Jenna know, Chris was intending to make some new memories...together.

There, among the 14,400 bricks, firmly sat one that read, "Jenna Mae Kline, Will you be my wife? Chris Winter."

Jenna said, "Yes."

Both are big Vikings fans. Chris has a "SKOL VIKINGS" tattoo. Jenna's family has been season ticket holders since the 1980s.

There will be more fireworks in the air the night of Sept. 18, when the Vikings host the Green Bay Packers in the regular-season home opener, televised by KARE 11.
