Mark Zuckerberg makes trip to Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS - The man behind Facebook enjoyed dinner Thursday night in Minneapolis -- one that he said reminded him why this country is so great.

Mark Zuckerberg posted about his dinner to his social network site, saying it was his first Iftar dinner, graciously hosted by a group of Somali refugees.

He said he felt empowered by their stories, that of strength, resilience and true appreciation for our country.

Zuckerberg has been on a journey and a mission to "bring the world closer together," and has taken that sentiment on the road -- visiting different cities, hearing people's stories, being immersed in their culture and finding that common ground that can help connect us all.

On Friday, Zuckerberg headed to Minnetonka to take part in some good ol' Minnesota hockey practice. He admitted his skills left something to be desired.
