MINNEAPOLIS - Wells Fargo will unveil the new Neighborhood LIFT program on Tuesday.
The new down payment assistance program could help put more Minnesotans in a home, and at the same time strengthen neighborhoods through more owner-occupation of homes.
The bank, along with local nonprofit organizations, will work with home buyers.
To you qualify, residents must live in Minneapolis and St. Paul. They could get as much as $15,000 to put down on a home.
Wells Fargo will hold a free home-buyer event Sept. 7-8 at the Minneapolis Convention Center to give people more information. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Minneapolis Convention Center is located at 1301 Second Avenue South in Minneapolis.
