White House locked down after items thrown over fence

WASHINGTON - The White House is currently on lockdown after two people threw items over the area's north and south fence lines.

The Secret Service says that two people, who are already in custody, threw the items over the North Fence Line and the South Fence Line at the same time.

President Barack Obama is not in Washington D.C. today; he is on a fundraising swing in California.

The Secret Service is now working on determining if the items thrown are dangerous or not.

There is no word on when the lockdown will be lifted. Neither suspect has been transported out of the area yet.

The lockdown is the second in three days. On Tuesday, a driver followed a motorcade carrying Obama's daughters past a security gate.
