Three American soldiers are among the latest victims of violence in Iraq.
According to the U-S military, all died in or near Baghdad. One was shot dead by gunmen who attacked his patrol. Another was killed by a roadside bomb. And a third fell during a raid the military says was aimed at capturing "foreign terrorists" -- two of whom were also killed in a firefight.
Elsewhere around Iraq, car bombings killed at least four civilians. And a bomb hidden in trash killed four laborers.
