ANOKA, Minn. -- Community residents are taking action to assist homeless youth by organizing a non-profit organization HOPE 4 Youth.
In Anoka County there are currently no emergency shelters for youth.
On March 4, 2013 a drop-in center will open in the city of Anoka. In order to open, HOPE 4 Youth is in need of non-perishable food items, basic hygiene items, school supplies and more.
Volunteers are need to be ready to assist in meeting the emergency basic needs of the youth.
