NEW ULM, Minn. -- On Friday March 22, the New Ulm Police Department received a call from Schell's Brewery reporting that one of the deer kept in a fenced in deer park had been killed within the past 36 hours.
The New Ulm Police and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) are investigating the crime of animal cruelty and anyone with any information is asked to contact the police department at 507-233-6750 or the DNR Turn in Poachers hot line 1-800-652-9093.
Schell Brewery President Ted Marti is offering a reward to anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for the deer's death.
