GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn -- Each year, Minnesota Children's Museum
provides playful learning opportunities to more than 430,000 children
• Play is a powerful mode of learning that is critical to healthy
brain and child development. When play is fun and child-directed,
children are more engaged in opportunities to learn.
• The Museum offers a fun and safe environment where children can be
curious learners, imaginative thinkers and physically active. Our
exhibits and programs create a love of learning and build healthy habits
needed for success in school and in life.
• The Museum has five permanent galleries, including a Rooftop art
park, and two changing galleries with exhibits that change regularly.
• Right now the Dora & Diego - Let's Explore exhibit is showing
and the Museum-created Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action, an exhibit
all about getting children and families moving together, opens on May
for more information.
