KARE 11 asked its Facebook fans to weigh in on where they go to relax. Here's what they came up with - the top 11 relaxing places in Minnesota.
1. Quietest Place on Earth (Orfield Labs)
Orfield Labs specialize in the field of human perception. Experts created an ultimate soundproof room in Minneapolis to test how the body reacts to sound.
2. North Shore
The majority of our viewers told us they consider the sights and sounds of nature to be the most relaxing. The North Shore near Duluth is a favorite place to relax.
3. Local Parks
There are more than 70 state parks in Minnesota and hundreds of local parks. They're accessible for walkers, bikers and all nature lovers.
4. Mississippi River
Whether you enjoy it from a boat or a bench along the banks, the Mississippi River is one of the area's greatest natural resources and source of relaxation.
5. Japanese Gardens
The gardens at Normandale Community College in Bloomington are beautiful, peaceful and open to the public all year round.
6. Como Park Conservatory
This is one of the preferred places to experience the scents and sounds of the outdoors... indoors, throughout the year.

Museums bring the world to you in a quiet, reflective space.

10. The golf course
A lot of men told us they like to relax by hitting the greens. Minnesota has more than 400 public and private courses.
