If you normally take the light rail to or from downtown Minneapolis between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., you’ll need to find other transportation.
Late-night Metro Transit light-rail service will be suspended during those hours on Monday and Tuesday nights.
On July 25 and 26, train service between Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue Station and Cedar-Riverside Station will not operate between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m.
Electricity to the overhead wires that power Hiawatha Line trains will be shut off to accommodate work on a skyway over 5th Street between 4th and 5th Avenues.
During the shutdown, buses marked "Route 55" will replace train service in the downtown area. Daytime train service will not be affected.
