FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - Cold and flu season is likely not on your mind as you stroll around the State Fair.
But it's a great place to get vaccinated before flu season hits.
August is not too early to get your flu vaccine.
The nurses with the Minnesota Visiting Nurse Agency (MVNA) will be in the Health Fair building giving flu shots to anyone age 3 and older.
Bring your insurance card. If you don't have insurance, the vaccine is also available for a small fee.
Proceeds from your vaccination go to support MVNA nurse home visits for children, families and adults in our community. By choosing to get your flu shot with MVNA, you support our community!
MVNA started in 1902 as one of the nation's first non-profit public health organizations and is a safety net provider to clients ranging from pregnant teens and infants, to older adults, spanning care needs from prenatal and birth to end-of-life and bereavement.
MVNA is a highly effective community health care provider whose nurse-led process consistently produces improved outcomes, especially for underserved populations. Compassion and ingenuity drive our home and community health services in order that we can positively impact the health and independence of individuals, families and our community.
