RICHMOND, Minn. - A Biwabik man was arrested Thursday night pending charges of flying an ultralight plane over a music festival while under the influence of alcohol.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office reported that Dustin John Calgaro, 28, was flying the aircraft over the Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Festival at El Rancho Mañana near Richmond and buzzing the crowd. He eventually landed at the campground.
A deputy at the festival investigated and determined that the pilot was under the influence of alcohol, the sheriff's office reported.
Calgaro was arrested and is being held in Stearns County Jail.
