MINNEAPOLIS - A man died Wednesday morning at a hospital, three days after being stabbed in the streets of Minneapolis.
Officers responded to a report of a possible shooting just before 11:00 a.m. Sunday, in the 2200 block of Portland Avenue South. When officers arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed and was lying in a driveway. He was taken to HCMC where he passed away Wednesday morning.
The Minneapolis Police Homicide Unit is investigating the case. No arrests have been made. Police say it does not appear to be a random act and the public is not at risk.
The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim.
