MINNEAPOLIS - Lakeland's Zach Sobiech will be honored as a "Hometown Hero" at Sunday's Vikings-Packers game at the Metrodome.
Sobiech's song "Clouds" became a hit shortly before he died of cancer in May.
The 18-year-old was a big Vikings fan.
On Sunday, the Vikings will play a portion of the song before the game begins. His family will be on the field before the game.
Vikings officials said that they chose Zach for his legacy of money raised for osteosarcoma research.
Proceeds from the sale of "Clouds" and YouTube views
are donated to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund. So far more than $590,000 has been raised.
