Police are investigating the shooting death of a cab driver in Brooklyn Center.
It happened just before 4am Sunday in the parking lot of the Brook Haven Apartments in the 3900 block of 65th Avenue North.
Officers were dispatched to a shooting and found the victim in the driver's seat of the cab suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Paramedics tried to save the man but he died at the scene.
Police believe robbery is the motive for the shooting. They are asking that anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or that has information to call them at 763-569-3333.
The cab driver's name has not been released.
