A Saint Paul woman, who allegedly held onto her four-month-old daughter while riding on the hood of a speeding car, has been charged with felony child endangerment. Her former boyfriend, who was driving the car, has also been charged.
Saint Paul police say the man, Rarity Abdullah, allegedly drove through a red light, swerving through traffic and jumping a curb with the woman, Blythe Jarrett, and baby on the hood of the car. The car, neighbors say, had been lent to the woman by a friend.
Police pulled over the car after about one-and-half miles and arrested the two adults. The baby was placed in protective custody.
Police say neither the baby nor the woman was injured.
