Police in Wisconsin are charging a 39 year old teachers' aid from Amery with having sex with one of her students, a 16 year old boy.
Court documents allege the relationship between the boy and Brenda Baillargeon began in May, shortly after the teenager's 16th birthday.
Police say the relationship included sexual intercourse on a number of occasions, and led to a marriage engagement between the two. The court documents did not elaborate about the engagement.
Police also say Baillargeon and the boy exchanged dozens of text messages, even after police warned her to stay away from the boy. Police say she used her daughter's cell phone to try to conceal the messages.
She's due in court in Amery on Friday.
