An Eden Prairie department store closed about two hours early Saturday night after someone called in a threat.
A spokesperson for Von Maur says the store received a threatening phone call sometime around 7pm. Customers were immediately asked to leave.
Eden Prairie police arrived on the scene to investigate but will only confirm the situation as a "suspicious incident."
Authorities say no one was ever in any danger and that it was the store's decision to close early.
The threat comes three days after a gunman shot and killed eight people at a Von Maur department store in Omaha, Nebraska. That store remains closed but the rest of the mall reopened Saturday morning with extra security on hand.
The gunman, 19-year-old Robert Hawkins, later turned the gun on himself.
