Divers recovered a body from a Fridley lake Thursday in a search that began after a city employee found personal items frozen onto the ice.
The body was recovered from Moore Lake around 3:30 p.m., and Police Captain Brian Weierke said there were no signs of foul play.
The body was not immediately identified.
On Wednesday, a city employee found personal including a hat, gloves and a driver's license near an opening in the ice caused by an aeration system. Weierke said a family had contacted police about a member who went missing Saturday.
