**A Total Lunar Eclipse will occur tonight ( Wednesday February 20th ) starting at 7:43 P.M. and will be visible in Minnesota. It will be cold tonight but skies will be clear - temperatures will likely be at or below 0 degrees in all areas of the state - winds will be light so wind-chills will be close to the actual air temperature. Twin Cities Metro Area Forecast for today Wednesday February 20, 2008: WIND-CHILL ADVISORY until Noon for wind-chills down to -35 below. The rest of the day will be sunny with afternoon temperatures near 0 degrees and wind-chills around -15 to -20 below with Northwest winds at 6 to 12 mph. Clear tonight with clear skies and light winds and a temperature of -3 below during the total lunar eclipse from 7:43 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. Low temperatures by sunrise Thursday will be around -6 below with light Southeast winds so wind-chills will be close to the actual temperature.

Sunny Thursday morning in the Metro then increasing clouds in the afternoon with a chance for some light snow in the afternoon and evening - highs in the mid teens with South winds at 7 to 14 mph. Partly to mostly cloudy with light snow or flurries - lows will be near +7 degrees with light winds.

Twin Cities Metro Area Extended Outlook Friday through Sunday: Partly cloudy on Friday with highs in the mid 20s. Patchy fog Saturday morning then partly cloudy and warmer with highs in the low 30s. Partly to mostly cloudy with a chance for some light snow mixed with light drizzle in the late afternoon - highs in the mid 30s. The average high for the extended period is 32 degrees.
